New York’s licensed cannabis market reached $3.3 billion in total reported retail sales by March 2026. Adult-use sales in 2025 alone hit nearly $1.8 billion, a 73.8% year-over-year jump that outpaced every major mature cannabis market in the country. The state now has over 600 licensed dispensaries, more than double the count from two years earlier. Long Island alone accounts for 47% of the state’s annualized adult-use sales — the exact market Gotham is built inside of, not adjacent to.
Nationally, pre-rolls are the fastest-growing major product category, gaining share every year since 2021 — the same category Gotham’s own High 5’s brand competes in at a #11 statewide ranking (Lit Alerts, Q1 2026). Federal rescheduling to Schedule III, already underway in 2026, would meaningfully ease the 280E tax burden every cannabis operator carries today.

High 5’s, our own flagship infused & coated pre-roll brand, is the #11 infused pre-roll brand in New York State by revenue (Lit Alerts, Q1 2026), manufactured on the same lines and to the same standards as everything else we build. This isn’t a plan for what we might do. It’s a real, operating business with real reorders.
