NY-Licensed Infused & Coated Pre-Roll Manufacturing in New York

High 5’s is Gotham’s own flagship brand, #11 in NY infused pre-rolls by Q1 2026 revenue (Lit Alerts). It’s built on exactly this process: infused flower, coated in kief or diamonds, then cured before it ships. If you want to know what this format looks like at real scale, that’s the proof, not a claim.

High 5’s — #11 in NY infused pre-rolls

Source: Lit Alerts, Q1 2026

High 5’s is proof this format works at real scale, not just in a lab.

  • Available as singles or 5-packs, each pre-roll runs 0.75g or more of flower infused with sugar wax and liquid diamonds, then coated in sugar wax, kief, and diamonds.
  • Every strain clears 40%+ THC, across Indica, Hybrid, and Sativa alike, and lab results are published for every batch.
  • Strain-specific and small-batch — once a strain combination sells out, it’s gone.

What Makes It “Infused & Coated”

Two layers, one real tradeoff.

Starts as infused flower (see Infused Pre-Roll Manufacturing for the five infusion materials), then gets a second layer: kief, coarse diamonds, or fine diamonds coating the outside.

A stack of five infused and coated pre-rolls, coated ends facing forward

Kief

The lightest coating option, lowest added cost.

Coarse Diamonds

Visible crystal texture, a strong visual and potency signal at once.

Fine Diamonds

Smoother finish, still potency-forward.

Binder, pick one: Gotham H5P Blend, our proprietary blend refined over years of real production, Gotham Solventless Blend, or standard cigarette glue.

Coatings bound with Gotham H5P or Solventless Blend cure for 24 hours before anything ships. Cigarette glue skips that cure step. A real tradeoff between the two paths, not just a cost difference: faster turnaround against a binder we don’t control the quality of.

Flower tier is the biggest driver of base cost. Outdoor flower is field-grown and cheapest, with more batch-to-batch variation from weather and pests. Mixed-light (greenhouse, supplemental lighting) lands in the middle on cost and consistency. Indoor is fully environment-controlled, the most consistent, and the most expensive. A trim blend brings cost down further on any tier: flower and trim are ground together to identical mesh size, so nothing changes in how the finished pre-roll looks or smokes. Trim runs slightly lower in THC sometimes, not always, and most of it is simply flower that fell off during trimming and wasn’t sellable on its own.

Cone and paper choice is a budget-versus-branding call. Stock cones are fastest and cheapest for a clean, unbranded product. Custom cones cost more lead time but carry your actual brand on the paper.

Capacity

Up to 10,000 units a day, run by a dedicated hand-coating team completely separate from the pre-roll line itself.

Process

Same six stages, one cure step longer.

  1. Quote & Sign

MOQ, pricing tier, and timeline all get fixed in writing before anything moves.

  2. Onboarding

Specs, vendor qualification, label review, METRC setup, plus your coating material and binder get locked in.

  3. Inputs Land

Your flower, packaging, or labels arrive — or we source them, including the infusion and coating material itself.

  4. Pre-Production Sample

You approve a sample before full production runs. Nothing scales up until you’ve signed off on it.

  5. Manufacture

Flower is infused, rolled, coated, and cured for 24 hours before packing.

  6. Release

Every batch gets tested before it ships, regardless of who supplied the inputs. That’s not negotiable.

Lead time follows the same logic as our other lines: 2 to 4 weeks if you supply everything, 8 to 12 weeks if we source everything, most orders in between.

Daily throughput tops out at 10,000, the hand-coating team’s own ceiling, and if we’re sourcing your infusion material, that sourcing step adds real time on top, same as it does for infused-only product.

Labels & Packaging

Same system, plus what’s on the outside.

Same print-and-apply system across every line we run. Lab results land 7 to 12 days out, so most brands print their primary label before results are back rather than lose two weeks waiting. The primary label carries your brand design; a separate print-and-apply label carries the real numbers, THC%, CBD%, TAC%, lot number, manufacture and expiration dates, solvents used, plus the mandatory METRC RUID, applied the same day results come in. Coating type and binder often matter to a brand’s own labeling and marketing claims too, so tell us what needs to be reflected. Bringing your own fully print-ready, OCM Part 128 compliant labels works just as well.

Verify Before You Sign

Verifying Any Manufacturer in This Category

This category has a real problem with quoted capacity that doesn’t exist and licenses that aren’t real. Check three things before signing with anyone.

  • The actual license number. Ours: Tier 2 Processor OCM-PROC-24-000200, Distributor OCM-DIST-25-000134, verifiable on the state’s cannabis dashboard.
  • The facility address behind that license. Ours: 55 Corbin Avenue, Bay Shore, NY.
  • Whether they can produce a real METRC registration for the batch.

Vague on any of the three is the tell.

Looking for a CBD Manufacturer?

Not selling THC? Just need CBD? We can do that too: same production lines, same specs, no cannabis license required to buy or sell.

Infused & Coated Pre-Roll FAQ

Is High 5’s actually made this exact way?

Yes. High 5’s is manufactured on this same infused & coated line, with the same Gotham H5P Blend binder and 24-hour cure. It’s not a separate, better process reserved for our own brand.

What’s the difference between kief, coarse diamonds, and fine diamonds coating?

Kief is the lightest option and lowest cost. Coarse diamonds give a visible crystal texture. Fine diamonds give a smoother finish. All three are potency-forward compared to an uncoated pre-roll.

Does the binder choice actually matter?

Yes, genuinely. Gotham’s own H5P and Solventless Blends hold the coating through a 24-hour cure before shipping. Cigarette glue is faster since it skips that cure step, but it’s a real tradeoff, not just a cheaper option with no downside.

How much capacity does coated production have?

Up to 10,000 units a day, run by a dedicated hand-coating team separate from the infusion line itself.
